I’m a thirtysomething dad and IT professional living in the Austin, TX area. I started gaming way back in the day, 1982, with the TSR space opera game Star Frontiers. Since then I've been an avid roleplayer. I went to 5 Gen Cons, was a regional Triad for the RPGA's Living Greyhawk campaign, helped start a gaming club (the FORGE) in Memphis, TN, et cetera.

I GM and play a variety of RPGs; currently Pathfinder is in heavy rotation as well as various non-D&D-based games.

Are you asking for the Catholic answer? What sort of Christian? The answer may differ in that group's opinion.

comment The Tyranny of the Weaker Brother
@Trig true, but it has a layer of Scriptural Justification (tm) when it's also a Christian group of geeks. Double threat.

comment Has Christianity ever come down in opposition of arranged marriages?
If you use that definition of "arranged," then pretty much only getting drunk and accidentally married in Vegas falls outside its bounds, which is unhelpful and not what the OP is asking.

comment The Pope is resigning. How does a living pope confer his authority?
Yes, after he abdicates he has no say whatsoever in where authority passes thereafter.

2. The Magi may have been Jewish maybe not, but if not they certainly have lots of knowledge of Judaism and the Prophets. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Biblical_Magi

The poem wasn't written by the magi, but an old Pseudo-British white guy, FYI.
