What was it about the death of Jesus that allows God to forgive us? I've been thinking about that recently too. I would imagine that the sacrifice required for the sins of the entire world would be something so great that no human could endure it, hence the need for a godly saviour. But everything we read in the Bible surrounding Christ's death is able to be endured by a mortal man. |
