This would make an excellent blog topic.

comment Where can I find out more about other people rising from the dead, when Jesus died on the Cross?
The LDS church believe fully in this event. If you're interested, visit scriptures.byu.edu and navigate on the left to Matt 27:52-53 for a list of talks by church leaders that mention the subject.

I think its incorrect to assume that those who rose resembled corpses. The whole idea of the resurrection implies that they at least looked normal, or perhaps even glorified.

comment Does a Christian have a responsibility to participate in government?
Was there any way for the Jews to participate in government during Christ's life? Perhaps he never told them to because it wasn't possible. The lack of exhortation does not imply lack of importance. If our government was considering removing our right to practice Christianity, would it not be important enough to focus on?

comment What are the 4 evangelists' inconsistencies saying about level of accuracy in NT?
After reading your question and responses to the two answers, I get the idea that you already have an answer to this question. If that is true, would you mind sharing what you think about the issue? Its okay to answer your own question.

Here's an excellent video of Christ's conversation with Nicodemus: lds.org/bible-videos/videos/…

comment What is the purpose of godparents?
I have noticed that the godfather and godmother are usually not married. So who gets selected as the caretaker? Do they share responsibility? Who makes the choice? The church, or do they settle it themselves?

Did that first point ever get edited? The heresy still doesn't make sense to me.

comment Why does the Messiah have to be God?
@AffableGeek Interesting. What translation? All the translations I look at say "annointed." I know that's what Messiah means; I'm just curious which actually translated it as such. This also begs the question, was Isaiah calling Cyrus the Messiah or a messiah?

comment Why does the Messiah have to be God?
Is it commonly accepted that Isaiah spoke of Cyrus as the Messiah? I've never heard that.

comment How do theistic evolutionists view the Fall of Man?
Your answer is the best defense of theistic evolution I have read. But I feel like its lacking something, though I don't know what. Maybe the idea that Adam and Eve didn't exist is just too shocking for me to accept with so few words.

comment Is God capable of ever doing wrong?
@rpeg I just want to throw this out there because I think its one source of your trouble in getting the answers you're looking for: the Bible is not the only source of doctrine for many Christians.

comment How is love greater than faith?
If faith is only the beginning, then how can faith be all that is required for salvation? Or is there something better than salvation that we earn by loving as Christ did?
