comment In Catholic teaching, to what scripture is each of the seven sacraments referenced?
@FMS Thanks. I certainly didn't expect that.

Are you looking for scriptural support for why each sacrament is needed, how they should be performed, or general evidence that it was done in biblical times?

comment Who if any Evangelicals still believe (as Jonathan Edwards did) that Adam was created with “a perfect knowledge of God” and everything else?
I don't know how you could reconcile that belief with "the tree of the knowledge of good and evil."

comment What does it mean that “many parts which are plain have been taken away”?
Your answer would be complete (and worthy of an upvote) if you addressed how the process of corruption occurred. The BoM Institute manual addresses this well under the heading "1 Nephi 13:20–29. Plain and Precious Truths Removed from the Bible".

comment Why is death a vital piece of God's plan in LDS theology?
The idea that the knowledge of death has a significant impact on our life and faith seems true. It is very difficult to imagine life without that. However, that doesn't feel like a satisfactory answer, especially since there's no direct support for it that I've been able to find.
