How literally is Romans 10:14 supposed to be taken? Why did you delete my comment? Notice the quote says BC. |

How literally is Romans 10:14 supposed to be taken? I was referring to the part where it says "One of the earliest written records of a signed language occurred in the fifth century BC." |

How literally is Romans 10:14 supposed to be taken? I'm not sure it's accurate that there was no sign language at the time. |

Why is the number seven special? @Flimzy: It's interesting to note that it's very similar to the meaning in Egyptian mythology as I linked to above ("perfection", "completeness", "effectiveness"). |

Why is it usually easier to do things the wrong or unethical way than to do things the right way? And how is that not a win-win? |

What does the Bible say about the appearance of angels? Interesting. Do you know of any depictions of cherubim in Christian art? |

Why are some people born into famine and starvation? Re: "He can choose to allow terrible things to occur in order to bring about a greater good later.". But since he is omnipotent, could he not bring about the greater good without the terrible things? While I realise it would be impossible to stop us from harming eachother while still allowing us to have free will, he should surely be able to prevent suffering that is not human-made, like natural disasters and so on? |
