Interesting. I never considered the "insanity" aspect of it. Good point on the "Reformed theology not speculating on realms of darkness." I was reading Erwin Lutzer's "The Serpent of Paradise" yesterday, which I heartily recommend and presents a beautiful account of the dynamics between Satan and Christ through the Bible.
