comment How is the Christian Jesus different from the Muslim Jesus?
The Quran also has a good quote about how God is Begotten by No One and Begat No One. That idea completely eliminates the idea of a Son of God, or ever being God's Children, vs being his Creations. I'm not sure of which Sura that's part of. It actually may be one of the short ones.

comment Was Jesus subject to the laws of physics?
@Cecil I'm not sure what edit I would give my answer. Looks like there are acceptable answers above. Questions now would be: Did God implement/create/bring about the laws that govern all things, temporal and spiritual? Does God choose to obey/live by/Exist or Be within these laws? Are the laws themselves simply his own commands/choices? If the laws of God are the commands of God, then I wouldn't worried about whether he's subject to them or not.. If it's his command, then the laws are his choice; the result of his control. The laws work exactly the way God chooses.

comment Was Jesus subject to the laws of physics?
@Cecil. Aren't there other laws in the universe? In coming to earth He subjected himself to any laws man is subjected to right? Physics are only part of it. I guess it's hard to describe someone that lives a law and also made the law being "subject" to the law..

comment Are there any traditions that believe in the complete cessation of miracles?
You're looking for one word to define this idea? Why aren't you happy with the sentence: "People who believe all miracle working has stopped"?

The "How were the Books in the new Testament Chosen?" question seems to be close to what I'm looking for I think. I guess I should be asking, how many books didn't make the cut.. but i feel like i could end up getting a broad answer like... everything that isn't in the Bible we know today...

If there is someone that could suggust a better wording for my question, please do. Every time I read the question, the wording sounds awkward..
