comment What happens to people who have never heard about Jesus?
+1 for (re)examining those scriptures.

comment Why should a sinner suffer forever in hell fire?
Fair enough, but we're jumping the bounds of the OP's question here. I'm sure there are other great questions on this site which address the issue of "unreached" people groups. Actually, here's a good one

You're right on the other hand, no one is infinitely good. We are not capable of achieving eternal communion with God on our own. However, Jesus is capable of making us worthy and deserving of eternal communion.

@AndersonGreen good point. I'll extend the idea put forth in my answer: Up until the point where we decide to be a disciple of Christ, we are defined by our sin and not only deserve separation from God (eternal punishment), but seek it. We are perfectly capable of achieving this on our own.

comment Jesus predicts that some will not die until he comes in his kingdom, but did this occur?
@fredsbend Or they're still alive! :P

comment Is the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of the Father?
I'm definitely having to re-read this. Not because your answer is unclear, but because the Trinity is mind boggling.

comment Was baptism practiced before Christ?
The earth was "baptized" in the OT, i.e. the flood.

comment Why do some Christian churches have classes about other churches?
+1 "Either way, the last thing any Christian should be scared of is the Truth."

comment How can one overcome lustful desires?
+1 for that first paragraph. Why depend on my fighting, when Christ's "fight" already put sin to death?!

comment What is significant about the torn curtain?
"...we no longer needed specially appointed people to intercede for us." Probably just semantics, but I want to mention that we do need a specially appointed person to intercede for us. Hebrews is clear that Jesus replaced the need for earthly priests with Himself as our priest now.

comment Can one be a practicing homosexual and also a Christian?
"Of course you can be whatever you want and be a Christian. The question is whether or not God will leave you that way." I totally agree. I like to read Psalm 37:4 as God granting new desires to those who delight in Him.

comment Did Adam and Eve's Progeny Commit Incest?
I've heard it said that their gene pools were so "rich" that they were able to (eventually) produce all the different races we have today. I have no idea how credible that idea is though...

comment Biblical basis for the doctrine of the Trinity
It would be good to note the difference between fact and factual. The idea of the trinity is factual; it isn't a blatant fact from scripture, but any reasonable reader would have to agree with the idea based on the facts found in the Bible.
