comment Did Paul preach Jesus's message?
Okay, so how are Christ's teachings incompatible with belief in a god?

comment Why is Jesus occasionally referred to as “The Christ”? Is there a different definition between the two?
Interesting. It'd be nice if you could support this by quoting either some verses or some writing on the issue.

comment Did Paul preach Jesus's message?
Okay, fair. Could you give an example of how Jesus's teachings are incompatible with belief in a god?

comment How do Mormon missionaries learn foreign languages so quickly?
This question appears to be off-topic because it is about practical details of a particular mission, not Christian doctrine.

Considering how many people would disagree with you on that, I think it'd be worth while to elaborate. ;)

comment What does it mean to be “born of water” in John 3:5?
Welcome to Christianity Stack Exchange! We really appreciate the earnestness in your answer, but it comes off just a tad preachy, and this is not a Christian site. In general we like to be a little more reserved and present answers from a certain point of view, instead of as an objective "one right answer." Maybe try to rework your answer with that in mind - otherwise it looks good!

comment What do Quakers believe about war and serving in the military?
Good answer. Could you maybe provide some sources for the claims on Quaker beliefs? (You're right, of course, but it's always nice to have to reference material. :)

comment Whose morals are being referenced by NT authors in the expression “sexual immorality”?
Marital ceremonies always existed, from the very beginning of Creation. God started off the world with one man and one woman, and Genesis 2:24 says "Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh."

comment What name was used by Peter for Baptism?
While I'im not quite sure we can (or should) disect "Lord Jesus Christ" to specifically apply to different persons of the trinity, I like this answer in general - the "name" of the Father, Son, and Spirit (the trinity) is the name at which every knee shall bow: "Jesus"

I've tried to edit this into shape. Please let me know if i've obscured the true meaning of your question, I did my best.

comment Why did Satan tempt Jesus in the desert?
that's an awesome parallel. It really shows the temptation to Jesus on a personal level, as the Son of God, and yet also the more important (to us anyways) connection between Christ and Adam. Brilliant, +1 :)

comment In what countries is it illegal to own a Bible (the most banned book in the world)?
@marc just goes to show how incorrect worship is just as bad as none. when we Christians do stuff like that, we're being big time hypocrites :(

comment Was the Holy Spirit or God (the Godhead), the father of Jesus?
@GregMcNulty I would say the only difference between the Holy Spirit and God is akin to the difference between ice and H2O - ice IS H2O, exclusively, but H2O isn't ice exclusively. (I really hate that analogy but it's the best I can think of)
