Is Matthew 28 saying something about Baptism? This is very interesting, but I might be a little confused on what you're saying. If I understand you correctly, you're agreeing that, when tied in to the Acts passage, Matt 28 could be used in support of infant baptism? It's crazy late so I'm hitting the sack but I look forward to any clarification/confirmation you might have. thanks! :) |

Is Matthew 28 saying something about Baptism? I'm asking what Matthew 28 has to say about Baptism, not asking for support for Believer's Baptism. |

Should a Bible believing Christian be pleased at the death of Osama bin Laden? @AffableGeek ah, fair enough :) I hadn't heard a distinction that technical before. |

Should a Bible believing Christian be pleased at the death of Osama bin Laden? @AffableGeek and yet, as far as we know, anyways, he will go to Hell, so he's not a "son of God" like Christians are. But we do need to remember that we are all sinners, and he was no worse than us before God. |

Did Paul preach Jesus's message? I've tried to pin down exactly what I was really asking. Your answer is still good, but to those coming afterwards: it doesn't exactly answer my question. |

Did Paul preach Jesus's message? Would it help, you think, to add some example passages from both Jesus and Paul that don't seem to reconcile? Additionally, an ideal answer would take the teachings of Jesus (using examples) and show how they are consistent with Paul, or vice-versa. |

Did Paul preach Jesus's message? You definitely establish that Paul was in agreement with the Early Church's interpretation of Jesus's teaching, but I'd still like to see some better resolution between Christ's apparently moralistic teaching and Paul's fundamentally grace-fueled preaching. |

Will all that are lost be saved? for the record, I noticed you used code ticks to format your quote - in case you weren't aware, there's actually a blockquote formatting trick for markdown. You can select the text and press Control-Q |

Are Many Christians postmodern in their approach to modesty? I see you've edited this post (perhaps in an attempt to get it reopened?). I think you're almost there: you've cleared up the meaning of postmodern, but I think you're still lacking a good, objective question. Maybe clarify to something like "is immodesty okay?" or "what does the bible say about how we shoudl dress" or "is this compatible with Christianity?" |
