comment Does the Bible condone bribery?
I think rather than 'bribery' as we consider it, it's more specifically talking about in times of distress, in which you should not be above calming someone with a 'gift'.

comment Knowledge of your sin
@MarcGravell 'knowledge of the truth'. I read that as knowledge of what is right or rather, knowing what you are doing is wrong.

comment Knowledge of your sin
@ChrisHarris reworded it. And basically, yes. Is knowledge of your sin the feeling, having been told it's wrong/frowned upon, or just seeing in the bible it's a sin?

Thanks :) I have a hard time limiting questions without saying 'assuming this', because that never seems to end well '~' The purpose behind the commands is part of this question though, as it's the difference between saying forever versus possibly saying now. God said to eat mana, but that was for a specific time, so the reasoning does kinda matter I feel.

comment Holiness of Mary and Joseph
"Blessed is the mother who gave you birth and nursed you" - Good quote, both in context and out.

But if he was born a God-man, would he also not have that part of sin within him? Or is is by being born from a human he had temptation, but not sin? And I guess my question is kind of a duplicate questions asking about how Catholics view Mary.

@GregMcNulty More God like, or favored more by God, than everyone else. I had religion class 5th grade-end of high school, and sometimes I'm not sure what is the teacher's beliefs vs the church vs the bible.
