Is Christmas biblical? Harsh winters in Israel? Anyone confirm? Isn't that a bit too far south to really be harsh? |

Has the name “Jesus” ever been used for naming Jewish children since the Savior's incarnation? In the Jewish community? How should some Christians know that? And why shouldn't they? So, I'd expect it to have been used... as long as it's not seen as "too old" or even "ancient". |

What is the biblical basis for the claim that abortion is immoral? @Narnian: When someone knits a sweater... when is it a sweater? Not while being knit, I'd say. Do you disagree? As I said, "not done", leaving the question open. And that question "when does life actually start" is the important bit. |

Sources on Historical Reliability of the New Testament -1 for pretty bad English. Take a bit more care next time, please. |

Why would God create beings with the capacity to sin? @Caleb: I read the book cover to cover. And I totally disagree that "every single example of anything God did was done for his Glory". |

Is there any biblical justification for referring to God as Mother? @Neil: did you just say that God is... transgender? ;-P |

Is there any biblical justification for referring to God as Mother? It's a realization that God isn't a human being, so of course He (;-)) has no gender. |

How do I get more faith? I'd prefer if you'd have mention this is LDS material right away, instead of one having to read (or scroll down) to the end to realize it's... well, not really mainstream. |

Are there any documented instances of anyone moving a mountain in faith? @Ulla: and who decides what was meant for the disciples, and what was meant for us too? A conundrum. |

Why would God create beings with the capacity to sin? Can you quote Scripture as to "God created everything just for his Glory"? |

Why would God create beings with the capacity to sin? Free will is not the prime directive, love is. But freedom (and thus, free will) is a very close second (and also a consequence of love). |

What is the biblical basis for the claim that abortion is immoral? Psalm 139 doesn't speak of life in the womb. It speaks of being formed. Which is "not done", "not finished". Which leaves the question of "when does life actually start" still open. Of course, I doubt many here will agree... |

How do Creationist Christians respond to the evidence for Evolution? @Caleb: your comment creates requirements that the question doesn't. |

How can Jesus, born of mankind, be sinless? And it's theological speculation I for one don't adhere to. This is a fallen, a corrupted world, and that's Adam's (and Eve's) doing. Since we're born into this, we're part of it. |

Is there a basis for Christian holidays in the Bible? Great answer. "celebrate the Savior", however, is done every time we take the Lord's Supper. Actually, I think I just realized why I never quite cared for either Easter or Christman (except for the gifts on Christmas, but I cared for the gifts, not for the celebration) |
