comment Why do translations use words like “servants” to mean “slaves”?
@JimThio Unfortunately 'servant' doesn't correspond exactly either. We don't have a word that exactly corresponds to someone in that position.

comment Bible and nakedness, why is it considered wrong, even after Jesus' sacrifice?
To pick up on just one aspect of your question, when people say "The Bible is universal" they mean "The Bible is for everyone", not "Everyone intuitively knows the contents of the Bible".

comment Do reformed theologians call “God the Father” Jehovah?
You are I presume citing the part of the etymology section which says: 'Many scholars propose that the name "YHWH" is a verb form derived from the biblical Hebrew triconsonantal root היה (h-y-h), which means "to be"', (among other related things).

comment Luke 19.22, what precisely is wicked as it pertains to the servant of?
I'm voting to close this question as off-topic because it's been asked on Biblical Hermeneutics, and is better suited to that site.

comment Is the “divine service” a service for god or a service for the believer?
This is a great, profound question, worthy of lots of discussion, on which many Christians including pastors have varying (and sometimes unclear) opinions. Unfortunately the very depth of this questions makes it somewhat unsuitable for this site.

Doesn't appear to be an actual question here.

comment My question is: Who is God?
Even if you were to restrict the answer to one denomination, the answer would be far too big to write here. If you have a specific question about God please ask. Alternatively there are many good books on the subject, or you could talk to a local Christian leader for more information.

comment Where did Jesus stay during his 3.5 yr ministry?
@disciple I'm unaware of any indication that Jesus might have owned a house. It's certainly not a widely-believed view. if you have good evidence that this might be the case, please write an answer with it in.
