comment What is the difference between “love one another” and “love your neighbour”?
I don't think my comment is responsive to the question as asked. Also, I don't disagree with most of what you said. I just wanted to clarify one phrase.

comment What is the difference between “love one another” and “love your neighbour”?
I think "display of affection" suggests a fairly modern idea of what loving means. In both "love one another" and "love your neighbour", what is central is the good that is accomplished rather than the affection that is displayed.

comment What is the Christian perspective on survival needs not met?
I disagree with the assessment that enough food is grown world wide to adequately feed all the people. This ought to be a question of fact, not conjecture. Unfortunately, the facts are hidden behind the fog.

comment Is creationism falsifiable?
Importantly, the ever-existing universe (which I called steady-state) was posited by scientists as late as the 19th century. (I don't like the word "world" because a lot of people could take that to mean "earth" rather than "universe".)

comment Is creationism falsifiable?
The assertion that the scientific method cannot test the past is often made when creationism is contrasted with mainstream science. However, the scientific community does not see itself as limited in this way. For example, when Hubble proposed the Big Bang theory, in contrast to the steady-state theory, scientists set about seeing whether the available evidence would tend to validate or falsify Hubble's theory. But there was no widespread questioning about whether or not Hubble's theory was within the purview of science.

comment Does Jesus say that he is God?
An interesting point is the phrase "I am in the father". Although I do not read Greek, I'd suggest that the Greek equivalent of the word "in" carries a lot of implications that are not apparent to us English speakers.

comment Has there been any explanation given on the murder of Joan of Arc?
Also in fiction there's the play, Saint Joan, by George Bernard Shaw. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saint_Joan
