comment Why is the Trinity a Trinity?
Just to note - this interpretation of Holy Spirit as love between Father and Son is popular in western christianity, however it would be totally rejected by Orthodox Christians.

comment Why is the Trinity a Trinity?
@treehau5 I know. And that's why the Icon by saint Andrew called 'Visitation of Abraham' is meant to represent the mystery of Holy Trinity. I just thought that this interpretation can be a little controversial for reformed christians. But thanks for the supplement.

comment Why the disciple took Jesus' mother unto his own home?
Because I don't know the answer to the main question "why John". I hope someone knows how Church Fathers answered it.

According to the tradition Joseph was already dead when Christ died on the Cross. And Jesus' brothers were not sons of the Mother of God. Why it was John chosen to take care of her instead of one of her stepchildren, I don't know.

comment Is there a Christian perspective on the matter of “delusion”?
Why do you think it "amounts to" not looking at the sky? It is generally about avoiding sensual experiences in prayer. The advice not to look at the sky (probably seeking some revelation) is just one of the ways to avoid spiritual delusion.

comment How do we know that Jesus was crucified at 9:00 a.m.?
As Christ was crucified at Passover and Passover is near spring equinox, this estimate is quite good.

comment In what order were the Sacraments added?
What does it mean "oficially labelled"? Orthodox Christianity e.g. still doesn't have dogmatically stated how many sacraments there are (catechisms agree on 7, but it's not confirmed by Ecumenical Councils).

comment Was Christ the man created?
No, we shouldn't reduce theology to the repetition of mantras. Yes, we should use semantics that don't introduce confusion and clearly state what we believe.

comment Were the Waldensians like a Protestant church in the middle ages?
Pacifism or belief that we should judge priests and only receive sacraments from these that we personally find "just" doesn't fit well into Bible's teachings.

These passages don't blame anybody for original sin. Only for their personal deeds.
