Why the disciple took Jesus' mother unto his own home? According to the tradition Joseph was already dead when Christ died on the Cross. And Jesus' brothers were not sons of the Mother of God. Why it was John chosen to take care of her instead of one of her stepchildren, I don't know. |

Who was Tychicus? According to saint Dorotheus (the note about 70 Apostles at the beginning of slavonic "Apostol" there were two Apostles named Tychicus. One of them was a bishop of Chalcedon, the other of Kolofon. Both are describes as "mentioned by Apostle". |
