Do I have to attend church every Sunday? I just heard a really interesting sermon this week. The church is not a building where we sit each week and invite others; we are the church and we bring it to others. We're supposed to meet people where they are at. That being said, meeting once a week at the same time can be a good way to get filled so you can fill others. Meeting on Sunday mornings is not a requirement and many churches have several services (mornings, evenings, etc) if you have other commitments (like scouts). |

Do I have to attend church every Sunday? Interesting analogy. I've never heard that one before but I like it. Get fed by the spirit with your community. |

Why did Jesus use the expression, “I tell you the truth”? Seriously, we have a lot of ways to grab the attention of the listener. |

How did Jesus reconcile his teachings with Judaism? I'm guessing you want something beyond Jesus quoting scripture in his teachings? |

Can I be homosexual and still be a Christian? Great answer as usual. |

Can I be homosexual and still be a Christian? I'm glad you asked this. This is a more important question than "is homosexuality a sin" since it addresses the real problem. |

How did Noah preserve fresh water fish? @AffableGeek: Who said fresh water fish were created before the flood? I guess that would be a different question (evolution and what have you). |

Is God capable of ever doing wrong? @rpeg: God is God. Read Exodus 3:14 (or all of Exodus 3 for that matter). God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: ‘I AM has sent me to you.’” |

How did Noah preserve fresh water fish? I think this is the answer. Noah didn't do anything to preserve the fish/animals in the seas/lakes. He only took two of each land animal and flying animal on the ark. |

Why the difference in depiction of the cross between Catholics and Protestants? Another way to put it is: a lot of people have died for their beliefs (we call them martyrs) but only one has risen. |

How do we know that the Holy Spirit is God? @Shredder: I suppose. The original question had the implication that the Trinity is God in 3 persons so this passage makes sense in that context (by lying to 1 person in the Trinity, you are also lying to the whole: God). An analogy could be parents: by lying to your mother you are also lying to your parents. |

Why not give credit where credit is due? @JoshM. No because that is not what God desires for you (see Thou Shalt Not Kill). But you should probably ask that in a separate question so you can get some real answers. |

Who performs a miracle - the person or God? Did you ask this question just so you could answer it? Or did you just find the answer after asking it? Either way, it's a good answer. |
