I am a graduate from KNUST Kumasi, Ghana who grew up as a lazy JW together with my paternal half siblings. At 17, I was stuck with my mom, a baptist who also influenced me to attend her church which I did without zeal. Until 23, I lived a churchless life although I followed the christian discipline. After so long, I have now felt God's touch on me through wonderful unimaginable means and currently fellowship with an Evangelical Charismatic church.
I don't particularly adhere to or refute any doctrine from any origin as they help me to study the bible more, maturing spiritually. I pledge myself in all things to dwell in Him and He in me.

Why would prayer cause pain? And at which part of the body, if physical? For instance I experience pain in my throat when I cry thus if I should cry during prayer, I sometimes have to force myself not to cry. Quite silly of me isn't it? |

Do the temples need cleaning? You only need to convince me enough. But if your point does not and I find it rather easily refutable, then it leaves me still searching. Maybe my word 'convince' shouldn't have come in but honestly, I'm inclined to agree more with Mason and vsc. Nobody has a perfect answer my friend, all we do is add what we know or think so that we help ourselves better in understanding. |

Do the temples need cleaning? I also think whether its the Gentile's area or the Jews', its all part of our Father's house so all they needed to do was to "...Take these things hence; make not my Father’s house an house of merchandise. " (John 2:16). If you still are not convinced, perhaps someone else will have to explain better. |

Do the temples need cleaning? "...But you have made it a den of robbers.” Isn't it quite clear that his anger was because they were stealing in the house of prayer? I have also heard that there were money changers because of different currencies being used so if there 'forex bureau' (which normally has higher rates for profit) for a particular coin in the temple. I think its the business practice my friend, not the racism. |

I know pastors who are not ok to go the extra mile explaining 'inflammable' topics, and stop wit those quotes. Example, how culd absolute omniscience and freewill coexist? Are there or why parts of the bible should be taken literally and others not? How the world could be 6000 yrs old? The proof of ancient pagan faiths with serious similarities to ours citing Moses as Osiris, Jesus as Horus, Mary as Isis etc. Pls I do not need answers to the above but they leav souls lost. I ask "did I do my homewk well?" |

Do the temples need cleaning? I am rather suprised at your last conclusion. Perhaps i did not get your explanation well. If Jesus was mad at the practice why wouldn't he feel the same today? If they have turned the church into a profit zone expecting to take somethingi away for themselves, aren't they the 'robbers' and the church the 'den'? |

When I feel my church offering is being misused Nok @ Marc and Mason. Well that might not help quite well when perhaps the closest person you can voice your concern is a deep fan of the leaders and as such is blind, seeming uninterested in your issues and probably shocked of your suspicion. I guess the best is to leave but I'll be more comfortable if there was a direct biblical backing. |
