I am a graduate from KNUST Kumasi, Ghana who grew up as a lazy JW together with my paternal half siblings. At 17, I was stuck with my mom, a baptist who also influenced me to attend her church which I did without zeal. Until 23, I lived a churchless life although I followed the christian discipline. After so long, I have now felt God's touch on me through wonderful unimaginable means and currently fellowship with an Evangelical Charismatic church.
I don't particularly adhere to or refute any doctrine from any origin as they help me to study the bible more, maturing spiritually. I pledge myself in all things to dwell in Him and He in me.

Are birthday celebrations ungodly? Well I wish you could make your point clearer for me regarding Hannah's celebration. The way I see it, she made a new robe for her son at the annual sacrifice to God, not a birthday celebration. |

Are birthday celebrations ungodly? +1 For giving me a reason to enjoy. But MORE SERIOUSLY, are you really considering "...because nothing is better for a man under the sun than to eat and drink..."? When you continue reading downwards, you'd want to reconsider. "Rejoice, O young man, in thy youth; and let thy heart cheer thee in the days of thy youth, and walk in the ways of thine heart, and in the sight of thine eyes: but know thou, that for all these things God will bring thee into judgment." (Ecclesiastes 11:9). |

Are birthday celebrations ungodly? @Marc I stand to be corrected but what do you make of this? "After this opened Job his mouth, and cursed his day. And Job spake, and said, Let the day perish wherein I was born, and the night in which it was said, There is a man child conceived." (Job 3:1-3).NKJV. How does it appear in your version and others? |

On which date was Christ born? @Steely Not that I disagree with you but I think your answer needed a bit of in-depth explanation to your claim as it is the only of its kind among the numerous posts and comment that Christ's existence on earth was real. |

What does it mean to worship in truth? For instance, I'd want to check on the trinity doctrines just to make sure I'm not making an 'idol' for myself mistaken to be God the creator. What if I am a bit wrong in who I thought God truly is? |

What does it mean to worship in truth? I don't know why but I think your answer makes more sense to me. Jesus cautions us about putting on a show before men whiles here he talks about worship to God in his true nature. +1 With that being said, will it be prudent for a new member of the Christian faith to weigh and study doctrines to see which one best (objectively) depicts the truth about God before deciding on where, how and with whom he should worship and fellowship? |

What if we were not tempted by the devil but rather, we failed God's test? @Jas check this. "SIN: First, it is important to understand that, from Matthew 22:37-40, God desires intimate, loving relationship with His people...". When you get to the 'if we fail' part which most critically answers the question, you maintain all the quotes of 1 John 1:1, James 3:2 and James 5:16, like you did. I think that will be cool. |

What if we were not tempted by the devil but rather, we failed God's test? I love your answer and your style. It's great but I noticed that all your answers are quite too long. You could convey your views in a more concise manner. I wish someone else would support this so you can work it out. But hey, +1 for you. |

Does anybody teach specifically about the existence of ghosts? Yes I request. I wonder why I've heard little on ghosts. |
