Is ex-nihilo creationism irreconcilable with the concept of individual free will? @vsz: These Christians believe that the Big Bang happened but not that it is the first cause. |

Is ex-nihilo creationism irreconcilable with the concept of individual free will? I'm not sure the Big Bang is the most convincing argument. A lot of (or most) people who believe that the Big Bang is the first cause (in a deterministic universe) believe that free will is an illusion. The following article argues that free will is compatible with determinism, but I don't think this particular would be applicable to creation ex nihilo by God: opinionator.blogs.nytimes.com/2011/11/13/… |

Is ex-nihilo creationism irreconcilable with the concept of individual free will? Hausam's argument is not quite that free will is incompatible with creation ex nihilo. Rather, he argues that free will is incompatible with creation ex nihilo by an all powerful God that wishes salvation for all of his creations. Anyway, I just thought this distinction is important enough to clarify. |

What percent of Christians believe Jesus was not God, and instead was messenger of God? @PeterTurner, that's much more clear with the edit. Though the claim that Mormons don't believe in the divinity of Christ (which this answer explicitly does in point B) is just flat-out wrong. I also think that "they have different or changed scriptures" does not give any legitimate insight into Jehovah's Witnesses' beliefs about the divinity of Christ. |

What percent of Christians believe Jesus was not God, and instead was messenger of God? The wikipedia article linked to in this answer does not include this table, so it's misleading to call it a source. |

What is the Book of Mormon equivalent of John 3:16? Clarify that this is specifically referring to the Book of Mormon (the LDS equivalent of John 3:16 is John 3:16 :) |

What specific foods and drinks are forbidden by the LDS (Mormon) Church? @TRiG, iced tea is still tea, and as I mentioned earlier, it's not about temperature. |

Where is the sermon in a Mormon church service? @MasonWheeler, I respectfully disagree. Although Mormons have a priesthood hierarchy, they also have a strong sense of equality. Offices are "rotated", and someone who is a bishop today may serve in the nursery (watching the toddlers) next week. The authority vs. individualism issue is one of Mormonism's paradoxes discussed in Terryl L. Given's People of Paradox. |
