Growth is more like a process where one's mind is continuously stretched.
No matter with how much gift I am endowed, mathematics gives me the tranquility I desire. What truly matters is one's taste.
A simple proof is often mathematically beauteous, for it is often surprising. This by no means says that every simple proof is mathematically beauteous.
If mathematics is not a thorny rose, then what is one such?
I would say do not do any thing such that you want to convince others that doing it is meaningful.
Logic can only tell you what is wrong.
