comment Holiness of Mary and Joseph
"possessing the holiness of God" - this is hard to define, sounds like you are asking if they were more God like than everyone else? At my church there isn't really much talk about either of them, rather that God used Mary's body for birthing His son.

comment How to verify if a “message from God” came from God?
the only problem is that the rest of the word is apparently debatable...

comment Was the Holy Spirit or God (the Godhead), the father of Jesus?
good question, I am still not clear on the difference between the holy spirit and God....

comment Did the Emperor Constantine ever present explanations for putting off his baptism?
It is possible he didn't know himself what direction to take for His life but saw the glory of the Lord in Christ and appreciated it...thus influencing the Roman empire. or God just used him for the purpose.

At my evangelical church they are considered a cult, guessing that means yes...

comment Why did the Lord create Goliath?
@jon, I understand the question isn't "nice" but it is still based on the reality of what was going on and deserves analysis.

comment Do the people God sends to challenge His people (for His Glory) have salvation?
This is such great insight, thank you for taking the time to explain this. As you pointed out, the Romans reading Paul's writing might have the same questions themselves and that there is salvation for all. Not sure why there was no such luck for Pharaoh? He wasn't justifying his bad as a means to good, he was just doing what God designed Him to do, which happens to be bad.....

This is an amazing answer. I find 9:16 particularly interesting "So God will choose anyone he decides to show mercy to, and his choice does not depend on what people want or try to do."

Narnia, please revert your vote to close, this is obviously a question with merit that other people have questions and interpretations of how the Lord works in real life and can be very helpful to peoples real life walk with the Lord. Please keep in mind this question was inspired while reading the Bible, thank you.
