comment How do you reconcile Hebrews 9:27 with Elijah and Enoch?
I have heard that theory before. Can you spell it a bit more (particularly the "through the womb")?

comment Where does the Bible say that nature will speak the word if men don't?
There's a verse in Acts (I think - I'll have to look it up) that says something about the Gospel being unstoppable - but I don't think it says anything about nature preaching the Gospel.

comment Why do Christians pray to Jesus instead of to God the Father directly, and isn't it risky?
Doesn't really answer your question and I see that it's targeted at Jehovahs Witnesses, but from an evangelical Christian standpoint, if Jesus isn't God then Christians are condemned by God anyway because we don't keep the law - praying to Jesus wouldn't make it better or worse.

comment How is it significant that Jesus rose on the 3rd day?
I agree he really was dead on the cross and I also agree we can over-study numbers in the bible. There are a few things that some of us have heard (to do with Jewish tradition of not really being dead until 3 days) but no evidence of it. If the answer is it's 3 because it's 3 then that's ok.

comment How is it significant that Jesus rose on the 3rd day?
I completely agree that it had to be 3 days because of the old testament (I mentioned Jonah in my question, but could have picked other passages including New Testament passages), but that just moves my question to why was it predicted to be 3 days. The question is What is significant about the number 3?

comment Why did Christ need to be the first person to be resurrected?
Not really an answer, but Colossians 1:18 says: And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy.
