When did knowledge of Christ's sacrifice become necessary for salvation? When the curtain was torn in half? |

Under what circumstances does God act on His anger? -1 God hates evil people with a passion. This is not true. God hates evil, but not the person. |

What's the importance of Fasting? One of the most common reasons I've heard, is to grow closer to God. |

Why did people live so long before the Flood? Excellent point |

Why did people live so long before the Flood? There's also the scientific viewpoint of the fact that there is a constantly increasing amount of mutated DNA in our system which makes our bodies more and more corrupt with each generation. This points to the fact that Adam and Eve may have perfect DNA, but because we are humans, the DNA will slowly become less and less perfect. |

How should Christians meditate? It's my personal experience, @Flimzy, but I don't have much of it. I learned it off a preacher |

Can people speak in tongues today? +1 For "it should have no place in a worship service". I believe that the speaking in tongues was meant to be a sign to the people of the coming of God's kingdom. Note that the speaking in tongues only occurred in areas where there were new believers, that is, the Gospel was being preached for the first time there, and there were converts for the first time. |

Why is rape not in the 10 commandments? @Samuel, it's possible, but not right before God |

Why is rape not in the 10 commandments? But the husband has to consider the feelings of his wife. Jesus did say that we were to love one another like ourselves. If the husband was to rape his wife, then that would obviously go against what Jesus is commanding. Thus, that would be a sin, wouldn't it? |
