comment Why go to Church?
That verse is in the context of church discipline, not so much a reason to be involved in the church. It's certainly not a very good verse to put to music and play in a wedding. :)

comment Genesis 9:7 fruitful and increase in number
@fredsbend I think that's a matter of opinion. Some women choose to do that when they're ready to no longer have children or periods. I don't believe a husband should make that particular decision for his wife, though. Also, I never said that having many children is a stigma. I simply stated that in many churches there is no stigma regarding birth control. Sorry if I offended you, but I most certainly did not intend to.

comment Did Jesus transform into spirit form after Resurrection
Incidentally, the heresy of Gnosticism has it's roots in the concept that Jesus didn't physically resurrect, but rather resurrected in Spirit only, leading to their belief that the body is bad, and the spirit is good, and thus it doesn't matter what you do in the body.

comment In Prophecy what does a beast represent?
Some would say that the beast would be literal, I believe. What tradition's answers, and what eschatalogical viewpoint are you looking for? Pre-Millenial, Post-Millenial, Amillenial?

comment How was Judas Iscariot, as the son of perdition, able to work miracles and cast out demons?
@SȱɳɨȼƮħeǶḝÐɠḝħȱɠ, not to mention... Judas... Pilate... The Pharisees... Sadducees... the crowds chanting "Crucify Him!" etc... all used to move Christ closer to crucifixion.

comment What is the significance of shouting “Hosanna” by the people of Jerusalem?
I think you may have answered your own question. I think they intended him to save them from Rome, specifically, and reestablish the sovereignty of the Jewish Nation. He didn't do that, and so they then saw no use for him.
