How many languages did apostle Paul speak? Latin is simply a guess. Just like some American do not speak English. |

How can we trust the Bible after it has been translated to another language? @Caleb Good point, then back to the original texts. I would side totally with you on this point. |

How can we trust the Bible after it has been translated to another language? The same way you trust a translation of a movie into another language. You lose a bit, but you still got the major part of it. Learning the original languages gives you the ability to be thoughtful of the translation you are using. |

How can we trust the Bible after it has been translated to another language? The Free Logos comes with the SBL Greek New Testament, when you mouse over the word verbs it gives you the root of the word instantly. Good tool. |

Does Christianity provide the right elements for democracy? I agreed with you on different levels. First your super-vote example is good and fair. The second argument, is lacking in showing that the values that I presented in the question are borned out of Christianity. And thirdly, all arenas of though (Islam, Atheist, Hindus ...) brings with it his faction, sects. |

Is it possible to believe in Jesus, pray to Him and be baptized and yet not get regenerated? @DanAndrews There is many way to look at this text. But prone a doctrine out of one text is highly dangerous. The rest of the Bible goes against the doctrine of losing the salvation. This imply that there is something that we need to to to earn salvation. |

Is it possible to believe in Jesus, pray to Him and be baptized and yet not get regenerated? This passage does not apply to losing your salvation. But simply to the unregenerate mind. The context would not allow you to push in that direction, nor the rest of the Bible. |
