Is it possible for The Bible to contain errors? @MarcGravell it just goes to show that this issue is a question of faith. Either there is no God, therefore any apparence of contradictions becomes a plateform to destroy the Bible and show the none existence of God. Or any apparence of contracdiction is just that an apparance. But I admit there are many christian that are very creative outhere on how they find their answer. |

How does the Bible describe the gender roles? @GregMcNulty, that would, maybe, describe the role of women, not the role of men. Be careful with the "simple" answer. There are few answer that are simple in life and in Christianity in particular. |

Also I'm not sure that your biblical examples could apply to the current issue. The martyrs example keeps me perplexe, I'm unsure about the way you look at Samson, and Christ death does not have anything to do with suicide. |
