comment Was Jesus Plan B?
In the Evangilical Reformed cicle, Kevin DeYoung, Greg Gilbert, Math Chandler tackles this issues in their books. What is the Gospel? by Greg Gilbert - The Explicit Gospel By Chandler- And of course John Piper, MacArthur, Mohler, DA Carson are the previous generation authors that would deal with the issue.

comment Is it possible for The Bible to contain errors?
@MarcGravell it just goes to show that this issue is a question of faith. Either there is no God, therefore any apparence of contradictions becomes a plateform to destroy the Bible and show the none existence of God. Or any apparence of contracdiction is just that an apparance. But I admit there are many christian that are very creative outhere on how they find their answer.

comment How does the Bible describe the gender roles?
@GregMcNulty, that would, maybe, describe the role of women, not the role of men. Be careful with the "simple" answer. There are few answer that are simple in life and in Christianity in particular.

comment a Christian response to dying in dignity or assisted suicide?
@MarcGravell There is one quote from Ravi Zacharias. "Unity is not uniformity". I think that quote serves us well in a question like this one.

comment a Christian response to dying in dignity or assisted suicide?
@Eric In brief your argument is: If the benefit outweighed the cost. How would non-christian pragmatism could view the benefit part: economic, opening rooms in the hospital ... I think your answer brings more confusion to the table. But, I do believe that you bring an interesting argument for future development. I will not accept the current answer. How does medical relentlessness fits in your answer?

comment a Christian response to dying in dignity or assisted suicide?
@Eric Your answer is interesting, but I'm not sure that you answer the question asked. I'm looking to a current social issue. Also I'm not sure that your biblical examples could apply to the current issue. The martyrs example keeps me perplexe, I'm unsure about the way you look at Samson, and Christ death does not have anything to do with suicide.

@DavidMorton could you add in your reflexion how therapeutic relentlessness plays a role in the issue?

comment a Christian response to dying in dignity or assisted suicide?
@MarcGravell as you may guess I will not accept this answer, because it expresses the view of an unbeliever, while I was looking for a christian view. But I wanted to thank you for your posts and answers, they help me understand how clever non-christian thinks through issue.
