comment What Bible translations are accepted by the Southern Baptist Convention?
Also, NWT isn't "controversial" for most Baptists - it is downright heretical. It is not fair to say "controversial amongst Trinitarians" It is fair to say "that's really only for Jehavoah's Witness"

The Southern Baptist Convention is headquartered in the United States, and the vast majority of them do speak English.

@DoubleU Please be a little more restrained in editing my answers. The word "popish" really didn't fit here, in particular.

comment What Bible translations are accepted by the Southern Baptist Convention?
@Bye I appreciate the edits, but decided to decline them, because frankly, I wanted to add a little bit of character to the answer. I actively did not appreciate DoubleU's edits that did make it more controversial

Welcome to C.SE. When you get the chance, please check out our tour and specifically How we are different than other sites. Unfortunately, this question probably should have been closed - because we aren't really looking for philosophy of science so much as theology.

comment Do Christians believe that Jews must still follow the Mosaic law?
Welcome to C.SE! When you get the chance, please check out our tour and specifically How we are different than other sites. This is a good answer, but it would be helpful if you identified your tradition, and exhorted a little less at the end. It reads like a sermon, not an essay.
