comment Was Elohim the Saviour and Redeemer of his world?
@ShemSeger These verses speak of God as a resurrected being, which is not the same as being the Savior. Do you have anything to show that Elohim being "the Savior and Redeemer of his world" is a "largely accepted Mormon belief"?

comment Was Elohim the Saviour and Redeemer of his world?
Nice find. Although, this speaks of resurrection; I don't see anything in there about the Father also being a savior Himself, which I think is what @ShemSeger is asking about. (Maybe I misunderstood the question.)

Eh, critiquing the question isn't usually appropriate in the answer

Having read through parts of Handbook 1 on various occasions, I can verify this answer.

comment What is the difference between an Apostate and an Antichrist?
Yes? An apostate is someone who has departed from the church, and an antichrist is one who rejects or counterfeits Jesus or His Gospel. One can leave the church without being antichrist...

comment What are Mormons allowed to discuss about the temple, when not inside the temple?
Typically, asking "what are we allowed to do" in the scope of Christianity is opinion-based, if not off-topic. It's very close to "Is X a sin?" questions.

comment Who is allowed to read the handbook of instructions in the LDS Church?
I'm surprised at how detailed and well-cited the Wikipedia article for Handbook is. It may be of some interest.

The edit makes more sense. Thanks for clarifying!

comment Father is invisible eternal spirit only?
What you've said isn't lds belief - what page did you find that on? And did you mean to tag your question 'lds'?

comment Is the tree of “knowledge of good and evil” the same as the “tree of life”?
@Bye In general, I don't always vote up questions I answer because I don't believe the question to be well-formed, but that doesn't always mean it's undeserving of an answer, especially if I think I have an answer. (This Q/A combo is good though. +1 to both.)

comment Why was the gift of the Holy Ghost not operative during Christ's mortal ministry according to LDS doctrine?
Not likely, as the Bible Dictionary was written in the latter days. And only about 30 years ago, at that.

@curiousdannii Okay, but I still think the edits were improvements.

Just FYI, since the question is tagged lds, you don't need to awkwardly attach "Mormons" into the title. ;)

comment Mormons, for how long can I be forgiven of all my sins?
@ColeTrumbo There isn't a universal answer to "How long can a person go without sinning?".
