Liturgy of Hours or Divine Office is a practice of praying Psalms and other prayers (both from Bible and other sources) at certain times of day. It's mandatory for Catholic priests and observant Catholics, but laity is encouraged for the prayer too. The book containing the prayers for Liturgy of Hours is called Breviary.
