Christianity Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for committed Christians, experts in Christianity and those interested in learning more. It's 100% free, no registration required.

The Wayseers uses a lot of spiritual and Christian terminology, including the phrase "The Way", and in their manifesto, they refer to the Will of God, as well as many other phrases from other world religions.

Is this some sort of new-age mumbo-jumbo? Or is there something of value to a Christian here?

"Is X Christian?" is subjective without a concrete definiton of Christianity. Voted to close. – John Aug 24 '11 at 20:23

Christianity is not a game show. We aren't here to vote people off the island. For the purpose of this site, please assume that the answer to "is X Christian?" is always the same as "does X self-identify as Christian?" It's the only way a group with such diverse cultures and beliefs can get along and do something productive. – HedgeMage Aug 25 '11 at 4:03

@HedgeMage: No offense, but that will never fly. True this SE cannot be turned into a voting war, but not everything that claims to be something is that something. Questions discussing the scope of the term Christian should be on topic -- not to definitively settle the matter but to air out the viewpoints. I'm not saying this question is a good example of that, only that it's not fair to force that assumption. – Caleb Aug 25 '11 at 6:48

I suggest: "Does the Wayseers Movement consider themselves a Christian movement?" – Shathur Jan 11 '12 at 13:46
