Comparison questions are by their nature poor fits for SE sites. – wax eagle Aug 24 '11 at 15:42
@waxeagle: not really. We get questions like this on AskUbuntu often. You just handle them in a professional manner like any other question. – RolandiXor Aug 24 '11 at 15:45
I'm really interested in the baptist church and its connections to catholic church. I'm eager to read the answers – deps_stats Aug 24 '11 at 15:48
I agree that comparisons are not suited. However, this is comparing the differences, not trying to say which is better. (That's usually the measure of a usable question.) – Richard Aug 24 '11 at 16:02

As it stands, this seems off-topic to me. You might try rephrasing it to ask about the reasons and results of the split, or some other more concrete and specific approach. Listing anything is off-topic on SE sites. – HedgeMage Aug 24 '11 at 19:30
