I had an early miscarriage when I was 20. I found out I was pregnant at around five weeks' gestation and lost the baby shortly thereafter. My question is: is my baby in Heaven? Will I see him/her again? Will I know my child's gender in Heaven and recognize him/her? Will he/she recognize me? Will my baby become who they would have become on Earth? I'm just really curious, as I often wonder what would have been.

This question appears to be off-topic. The users who voted to close gave this specific reason:

  • "Questions seeking pastoral advice are off-topic here; your spiritual problems are too important to be left in the hands of random Internet people. See: Pastoral Advice Questions" – Affable Geek, El'endia Starman

@ tese While I know of no Scriptures which can give you complete answers to your questions, I can make a suggestion which can help you. Many Churches now have a program for abortion recovery, and many of the questions that women have asked are specifically the questions you are asking. I encourage you to locate a church in your area having such a program and at least talk to them. They are trained in working with those type of questions. – BYE Jan 8 '14 at 0:21
Hi and welcome to our community. To clarify a common misconception about this site, we're a fairly academic question and answer site run by a secular company. We have numerous members who are Christians, but because of the nature of this site, we don't answer this type of question. It's not that we don't want to help, but on the contrary, we don't feel that it's in anyone's best interest to try to do so on this site.
