Hades, hell, and the four words used to describe hell, in the greek and hebrew describe the place one goes after they die and where they are kept until judgment. Where the rich man is and begs to go back to warn his brothers. I believe the lake of fire is after judgment day, right? So passages that talk a lot about the soul perishing, thoughts perishing, God killing both body and soul in hell, sounds like a soul would no longer be in existence after judgment. Why does it sound this way in the scriptures?
