Hebrews 8-10 made me think different and that the True church is one not made by human hands so that means everything else is counterfeit to the real thing. The true followers worship in Spirit and Truth and have no need for anyone to teach them anything God himself teaches us through the Holy Spirit. All that God requires is we live a life of Justice love and mercy towards others.

What has happened in the Christian world is that we follow what we see hence attaching ourselves to a denomination or organization.

Why do we keep looking for a physical representation of the Kingdom? It is already within us.

Luke 17: 20-21 (KJV)

20 And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:

21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

This is the Truth that many of us find hard to accept. This is the freedom that the Lord gave those who love him. The True church cannot be seen or touched it is "no part of the world" . Paul also spoke about the true church as one being not built by human hands and we can enter into with boldness and go right into the presence of Almighty God. This is spiritual and not physical.

Welcome to the site! However, I think you may have mistaken the purpose of the site. This isn't really a site to debate Truth, or even learn it. (I made that mistake early on). Rather it's a site for a more outside-in look at the various teachings within Christianity. I think this could be re-phrased in such a way as to make it fit, however, and I don't want to discourage you. I also realize a lot of questions on here go against what I just posted as well. the site went through a sort of defining period, where everyone was trying to keep the site from devolving into just really bad questions, and utter confusion. If you look at the close notice, you'll see the sentence "As it currently stands, this question is not a good fit for our Q&A format." Just because I closed it doesn't mean that it has to stay closed. Welcome to the site. I'd like to say that the main issue I see with this question is that it is less a question than a soap box. This site isn't a good place to hash out true theology, it is for an outside look in at existing doctrine and practice. You have here in mind a specific point you are trying to get across and maybe have folks discuss. That isn't how this QnA format works. What is your question? I think you may be making too much of within you for the first part, I must admit that this is not the translation that my tradition uses, but it is an honest translation, although it was written in a day when within you might not have meant "the power is yours" so now, among you or in your midst might be more appropriate.

This is from an author that is not from my tradition, so maybe it'll resonate in a way that the normal line of apologetics probably wouldn't tonight

What did Jesus mean by the phrase ἐντὸς ὑμῶν? Translations that read, “within you” and interpret the phrase as “within one’s heart” miss the point as well as the purpose of Jesus’ ministry and claims. The phrase “within you” does not mean “within your heart” but “within your midst” or “among you.” The central point about the kingdom is that it is located where the King is. Doctrine.org
